BBQ CORN RIBS

BBQ CORN RIBS

I made this dish over the summer on the and was so delicious. However it's still cold here in Chicago so the Air Fryer it is. My recipe for BBQ Sauce is also listed but you can use the sauce of your choice. 

Makes 14 ribs

4 Ears of Corn 

1/4 CUP Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

1 TSP Salt 

1 TSP Onion Powder 

1 TSP Garlic Powder 

1/2 TSP Smoked Paprika 

 

 *If you're using an oven, preheat oven to 450 degrees. 

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil ears of corn for about 10 minutes. This makes them a lot easier to cut with out injuring yourself. 
  2. Remove from hot water and let cool. 
  3. Meanwhile, whisk together oil and all seasonings. 
  4. While the corn is still cooling, you will prepare the Simple BBQ Sauce. 
  5. Coat your corn ribs with the oil an spice mixture. 
  6. Place corn into your air fryer or oven for 10 min. 
  7. Remove corn and brush with your sauce. 
  8. Repeat step 7 one more time after 5 minutes. 
  9. Remove corn ribs, and brush with more sauce if you'd like 
  10. ENJOY!
